It has been announced that all of the anime series "Monogatari" based on the popular novel by Nisio Isin will be streamed for free on ABEMA. The first series, "Bakemonogatari", will be streamed from 9 am on June 2nd, and all 10 series will be streamed sequentially over the course of a week. The series can be viewed for free for one week after they are streamed.
On June 2nd, "Bakemonogatari" (15 episodes in total) will be released, followed by "Nisemonogatari" (11 episodes in total) and "Nekomonogatari (Black)" (4 episodes in total) on the 3rd, "Monogatari Series Second Season" (31 episodes in total) on the 4th and 5th, "Tsukimonogatari" (4 episodes in total) and "Owarimonogatari" (12 episodes in total) on the 6th, "Koyomimonogatari" (12 episodes in total), the entire "Kizumonogatari" trilogy, "Owarimonogatari" Mayoi Hell/Hitagi Rendezvous/Ougi Dark (7 episodes in total) on the 7th, and "Owarimonogatari 2" (6 episodes in total) and "Monogatari Series Off & Monster Season" (14 episodes in total) on the 8th.
The Monogatari series is a novel depicting the drama surrounding Koyomi Araragi and other boys and girls and the supernatural phenomena. The first TV anime series, Bakemonogatari, was broadcast in 2009, followed by Nisemonogatari and Nekomonogatari (Black) in 2012, Second Season in 2013, Hanamonogatari and Tsukimonogatari in 2014, Owarimonogatari in 2015 and 2017, Koyomimonogatari in 2018, and Owarimonogatari 2 in 2019. Kizumonogatari was released as a trilogy of films in 2016 and 2017. The trilogy's omnibus, Kizumonogatari - Koyomi Vamp, was released in January 2024, which also attracted attention. A new anime, Off & Monster Season, began streaming in July 2024.
